10th ID gipangunahan ang Debriefing ug Medcap

Gipailalum na sa debriefing ang pamilya sa mga biktima sa nahitabong landslide sa Pantukan, Compostela Valley. Ang debriefing inabagan sa mga Non Government Organizations ug sa 10^th Infantry Division sa Philippine Army kun asa nagtunol usab ug free medical mission. Gitagaan ug pagtagad sa nahisgutang medical mission ang Critical Incident Stress Debriefing sa kinse ka pamilya nga naapektuhan sa landslide kun asa gihinabi sa guidance counselor gikan sa Ateneo de Davao ug Psychiatry Department sa Southern Philippines Medical Center ang mga kabanay sa mga biktima sa landslide.  “There is a need to address the psychological effect of the disaster to these victims, no matter how the victims say that are fine, still, this unfortunate incident may affect these people subconsciously in the future,”  What we’re amazed to hear and see was the high level of resiliency these miners have.  They still manage to smile and assert that are indeed fine. No wonder, the fact that they enter mining tunnels and face danger everyday indeed have increased their way of dealing with stress,matud pa ni Mr.  Glen Evangelista ang  guidance counselor sa Ateneo de Davao. Samtang nahitabo ang debriefing gipadayon usab sa Phil. Army ug Philippine National Police ang retrieval operations sa mga wala pa nakit-ang mga lawas sa biktima. “In times of disaster, our soldiers drop their rifles, and pick up their shovels” kini usab ang gibutyag ni Colonel Roberto Domines, commander sa 1001^st Infantry Brigade.
